News Travels Fast

Greetings Faithful Readers...

Well once again I am on the couch. Congested. Feverish. Wanting it all to be through so I can get on with life. This article in the Sun-Sentinel has given me plenty to keep me busy, though.

I found out yesterday that the story went to the Associated Press. We got an email from one of Mindy's friends from Orlando. It seems that their evening news ran a whole story about our campus! Isn't that awesome? Of course, this world-wide distribution of the story has triggered some emails both praising and bashing the concept of the Internet Campus and our baptism online.

I have been able to directly address each one respectfully. For some, it really doesn't matter what I tell them...they have already made up their minds about the campus. Others return emails with "I never thought of it that way..." In either case, the word is getting out there that people can connect with God (and people worldwide) through our Internet Campus. My prayer is that those that may have given up on God and the church might try us out as a result of this story. One newspaper article might be the start of someone's eternity with Christ...

You've gotta love that.
