Where do I begin?

Greetings Faithful Readers...

Welcome to the new look of Vasilating!  My dear wife, Mindy, worked hard on the new design of the site and I absolutely love it.  Thanks honey!

Here's the rundown of my life as of late:

1)  I am leaving tomorrow for a 5 day trip to Fellowship Church in Texas and Lifechurch.tv in Edmund, OK.  I have meetings scheduled with Brandon Donaldson from the Internet Campus @ lifechurch.   I am REALLY looking forward to it!

2)  This deserves its own post (and it will get it), but on Sunday I led in the first ever Internet Baptism.  I am still forming up the words to describe how it went in my mind...but you can read about it here and here.  I will post my feelings soon.

3)  I said goodbye to my brother.  He is permanently moving to Tennessee this Sunday.  I will surely miss him.  We haven't lived apart in my entire 36 years on the planet (other than his 4 years in the Army...).  I don't have a very big family, so this departure is really tugging on my heart.

4)  We had a fantastic global Garage Sale last Saturday!  Sales in Brazil, Mexico, South Carolina, Winter Park, and England!  We're still figuring out how much we raised for Cancer research...but it was an AWESOME weekend!

5)  Last weekend on the Internet Campus (besides the baptism and the great teaching), we had 1 salvation and 1 new small group launch in Jacksonville!  Woo hoo!

There's probably a bunch more that I am forgetting...but that's it for now.  I will be blogging each day of the trip (hopefully with video) so come back tomorrow night for the first installment!  Blessings to each of you that visit the site...
