Brain Dump

Greetings Faithful Readers...

It's been awhile since my last one of these...no, not blog posts without a video...but just a random list of things that have been going on in my life...here's the latest...

1)  Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull... on a 10 scale, I'd give it a 7...  Great to see Indy again..but it felt a little like a class reunion....  same people, same music, but everybody moves a little slower.  There was one scene where I couldn't tell if the cracking sound was Indy's whip or his hip.   Shia was good as Indy's sidekick but I still see him as the kid from Even Stevens.  Overall, it's worth your cash to see it..but don't expect Raiders.  Kinda like Star Wars 1-3...never as good as what was done before.

2)  Had a great workout this morning with my teammates from Flamingo.  Very cool time afterward at Starbucks...(of course I had Jamba)...  I ran a 5K (3.2 miles) on the treadmill...

3)  Speaking of working out...I bought the Wii Fit.  For those of you that don't know what that is...it is basically a bathroom scale that interacts with the television.  It is designed to help people work out and make it fun.  Some of those moves have been kicking my rear...lunges, squats, sit-ups...all under the leadership of my digital coach.  How better for the iPastor to get exercise than with a virtual trainer...

4)  Last weekend was amazing on the Internet Campus...Carol Gladden rocked the weekend with her amazing story about how God used the I/C to help her find her way back to God.  We also added country #39 to the list..Taiwan!

5)  The new podcast is going very well.  We are now on iTunes! The podcast is a combination of tech, church, and our take on all things Internet.  We try to keep techno-babble down to a minimum...  Give it a listen and let me know what you think!  Here's the link! or visit us on www.WebChurchpodcast.com

6)  The Mole starts back up next weekend... I love that show

7)  Looking for some cool mac programs to play around with?  Try these...  EvernoteSkitch, TextExpander, Delicious Library 2, and Bento

8)  Congrats to Mauricio and Phil from the world's greatest video team....  You have both found amazing women...and married way over your heads...  God's blessings to each of you and your new wives!

9)  Latest guilty pleasure show - Peter Perfect It's awesome to see people forced to think outside their comfort zone...

That's it...faithful readers...the well is now dry.

My prayers and love go out to the Gramling family... You are in my thoughts...

BV
