Greetings Faithful Readers...

Well, the deed is done. I've finally done it. I have gone into my Twitter account and made some adjustments for my own productivity. You see, I have the program called Twhirl that beeps and dings and pops up whenever somebody I'm following on Twitter leaves a Tweet.

I have the attention span of a gnat. When a window pops up on my computer I have to immediately leave what I am doing and check out what is happening. Problem is...I had some people on my list of Twtiter folks that Tweet A LOT! That's all fine, but each time they do, I am distracted. As many of you know I have begun really focusing on my productivity level and organizational skills.

I had to remove them from my Twitter list. I had no other choice. You know, I will still follow their blogs...but it was just too much to follow their every move. Some were hard choices...I still wonder what kind of sandwich they just ate...or what their child is going to be in the school play... Will not knowing these things hurt me? Not really... Will my productivity increase? Yep.

Technology can be an amazing tool...but sometimes it gets in the way if you let it. That's coming from a guy who hopes his house in Heaven smells like new electronics.
