Comic-Con is ON!

Greetings Faithful Readers,

Well this week is Comic-Con in San Diego... Basically it's a gathering of folks that come together to share common interests...talk about the latest developments in TV and anime...and dress up like their favorite characters.

They just showed a trailer for Tron 2.0...there is a panel for Heroes (with the cast) and LOST (with the producers)... Most of the major studios will be there revealing upcoming sci-fi related fare (Terminator, Watchmen, etc.).

This is my kinda place. I've never been to a Comic-Con, but I have gone to local sci-fi/comic conventions. I guess some might consider that nerdy...but I'll wear that badge. People that are staying at the hotel that aren't part of the convention simply walk by and shake their heads...not understanding why someone would get up extra early and dress up like the Gorn from Star Trek.

To those that don't "get it"...that's OK. That's why there's 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins...each person is different. But to those that do...and I count myself as one of them...conventions are fun ways to connect with people that share the same interests. So, rock on Comic-Con...can't wait to see all of the good stuff coming out of San Diego!
