A Vasil Update

Greetings faithful readers...

It's been awhile, hasn't it? I hope you were able to listen to the podcast and enjoyed all of it's Disney goodness (as well as an update on the Internet Campus!)

Here are some highlights from my brain from last week:

1) I should have been a Jedi. Here is a photo from volunteer appreciation night on the parking team. However, my light saber is glowing red...which (of course) means that I would be fighting for the empire. I don't see myself serving Darth Vader...so I think my saber would be blue, purple, or green. Sorry, geek moment. Anyway, being a member of the parking team was challenging but so worth it...the volunteers at Flamingo Road are AMAZING!





2) The Internet Campus has been such a wonderful experience so far! I am honored to be leading this campus and I can't wait to see what's on the way! Tonight we had over 400 login for our Saturday night services...77 on Thursday! Go God! I'll keep you posted on total attendance after Monday night.


3) So far...I've lost just about 30 pounds. That is what this dog weighs. Isn't he cute? Just imagine walking around all day with him attached to my mid-section. He would bite me when I tried to pull up my pants. Awkward.





4) I am healing up from Shin Splints. If you've never experienced them...try to avoid them! They feel like I got whacked in the center of both shins with a tack hammer. I think they came as a result of running without stretching...never again!
