Wow. Beach baptism is over. 350 or so made the next step. The waves were high and the sky was blue. I can't imagine a more perfect day. Congratulations to all who made that wonderful decision of obedience.
It's hard to pick out a favorite moment. So many people smiling and crying at the same time. So many volunteers serving at the beach after a full morning serving at one of our campuses. Thanks to all who went the extra mile this weekend. As one of your pastors, I am honored to serve with you all.
I got the chance to watch the video footage of the event this morning and it is really great. We are going to show a "recap" of beach baptism at first Wed. night (Oct. 4) so you won't want to miss it.
Time to clean more sand out of my ears. Thanks be to God for a beautiful day.
